Studios

North Carolina offers several studio options to filmmakers. From the mountains to the coast, filmmakers will find a variety of studio options to suit most production needs. Cinespace Wilmington (formerly EUE/Screen Gems Studios) located in Wilmington is the largest studio complex with 10 stages; while the newly opened Dark Horse Stages, also located in Wilmington, will have an additional 40,000 sq ft to its campus with two new purpose-built stages available for booking starting in December 2024.  Charlotte, Asheville, Raleigh, and areas surrounding Greensboro and Winston-Salem all offer stage options for filmmakers.
