COVID-19 Proposed Health and Safety Guidelines
North Carolina is currently open for production and at this time there are no quarantine requirements for those coming from out-of-state.
As of 5 p.m. on October 2, 2020, the state is in Phase 3 (of 3) of its re-opening process and face coverings are required to be worn while in public places, both indoors and outdoors. Note that while Phase 3 continues to have restrictions on mass gatherings, these restriction do not apply to production sets as gatherings "for work" are exempt per Section 7 of Executive Order 141.

While there are no film-specific guidelines or restictions for the state regarding COVID-19, the North Carolina Film Office STRONGLY advises productions to follow the guidelines presented by the The Industry-Wide Labor-Management Safety Committee Task Force and additional safety procedures presented by a collaboration of industry labor organizations, which are available below for review (note that these documents may be updated as new information and/or modifications are made):
